CMRU.ca is Mount Royal University’s student-run radio station in Calgary, Alberta. Broadcasting students first signed on in 1965 and they have been on the air ever since. The station streams 24/7 on the internet 365 days a year!

CMRU.ca Radio gives students in the Bachelor of Communication – Broadcast Media Studies degree program an opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in all aspects of radio. The studios are equipped with current, state-of-the-art equipment and technology allowing students to excel in writing, editing, recording, reporting and production of on-air programs.

Students are encouraged to be creative, take chances and not be afraid of the microphone! You never quite know what to expect on CMRU Radio, but we think that’s what makes it worth listening to!
