WAER is a non-profit public radio station licensed to Syracuse University. We offer an eclectic mix of programming anchored around a jazz music format. Programming includes NPR programs Morning Edition, All Things Considered, Weekend Edition, The World Cafe and Car Talk. Locally produced music shows include jazz, blues, folk and gospel. WAER also produces broadcasts of Syracuse University football, basketball and lacrosse games using SU student broadcast majors.
