The Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) aims to nurture knowledge, attitudes, and skills to enhance communication needs and living standards for all communities. It plays a role in strengthening nationalism and maintaining the economic, social, political, educational, cultural, and moral well-being of the people of Sri Lanka. The SLBC offers various radio channels including Middle East Service, Dambana Radio, CIR Zero FM, Welenda Sevaya, Pirei FM, Wayamba Radio, Thamil Sevai, Rajarata Sewaya, Kandurata FM, Radio Sri Lanka, Thendral FM, Asia Service, Yaal Fm, Ruhunu Sewaya, City FM, and Swadeshiya Sevaya.
