JazzRadio.hu, founded in 2000, is the only Hungarian radio station broadcasting real jazz music 24 hours a day. Its repertoire includes works by jazz legends such as Oscar Peterson, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, and Miles Davis, alongside contemporary artists and living icons like Herbie Hancock, Keith Jarrett, Wynton Marsalis, John Scofield, and Kurt Elling. The station also regularly features Hungarian performers and bands, and in partnership with the Budapest Jazz Club, broadcasts concerts from top formations, creating a significant archive of Hungarian jazz music.
