Hrvatski Radio New York, "Glas slobodne Hrvatske," is the only Croatian radio station on the East Coast of the Atlantic, serving listeners for over 50 years. The station's goal has been to defend Croatian rights and preserve the Croatian language by spreading truth and positive words. The Croatian Radio Club celebrated its 50th anniversary on February 24th, an event recognized by the President of Croatia, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, who presented a charter for their dedicated work in connecting Croatians abroad and nurturing their language and culture.
