102.7 CHOP FM is Pickering College's CRTC-licensed, student-operated radio station, serving the Pickering College community and the wider Newmarket area. Broadcasting from New House on campus, the station features community-based programming produced by students, including a live morning show, sports updates, and various feature programs. It offers students opportunities to gain experience as on-air hosts, producers, editors, and interviewers, managing the station's daily operations. Since 2007, CHOP FM has played a role in the Newmarket community, featuring music across alternative, rock, pop, jazz, and folk genres, alongside student and volunteer-hosted programs of local interest.
